I removed the plastic ergonomic knob from my thirteen speed and replaced it with a previous generation knob that has all three positions via the thumb button. My question is this. The plastic knob had four ports used and the older knob only used three ports.

I have looked high and low for a schematic that covers the way it should be plumbed. Essentially you have the three lines that go to three ports and there is only six possible combinations that can be used. The fourth line that was used in the plastic knob was an extra supply line that got its air from a T on top of the slave valve.

The air came up from below the slave, through the slave to the T and the left side was a second supply and the right goes to the Range cylinder. I capped off the left side of the T that was the second supply to the knob. Dean's schematic shows the three position knob with the A slave valve but my LTL has the A Pure and simple and it worked perfect. I removed that line and pluged the left side of the Tee.
